Welcome to the Parent's for the 2008-09 School Year

Dear Parent(s):

I hope this letter finds you and your family doing well. 

Our school continues to enjoy success as we strive to give your students the very best.  This year we will open our first School-within-a-School, we will open our first Dual Enrollment where students will get college credit, we will offer online classes, the virtual classroom will be added, and we hope to expand upon our Freshman Academy.  We have seen a record increase in enrollment, so much so that we will be a 6A school next year!

We are very excited about the inaugural class of the Business and Finance Academy.  Plans are currently being made to ensure that all of the students enrolled in the academy have the very best experience.  There are several businesses working with us to determine what kind of roll they can actually play in assisting our students with hands-on experiences in the real world of business and finance.

As we prepare for the new year, I am asking that all students pre-register.  There is nothing more frustrating than coming to school on the first day and having to wait in long lines to register.  The registration fee for this year is $35.00.  This fee covers:

1. Postage for all school mailings.
2. Parent Newsletters.
3. ID Badges for all students.
4. Lanyards for school badges.
5. Paper for progress reports (distributed to students every Wednesday).
6. Student Handbooks.
7. Guidance Fees.
8. Computer Fees (does not include BTE course).
9. First Aid Fees.

This fee is payable in cash or money order made payable to Williamson High School.
