UNIFORM 2009-10

COMPLIANCE MEASURES STATEMENT:

Disciplinary action will be taken to enforce compliance with policy.  Students who do not comply with policy will be denied admission until such time as they are in compliance, in accordance with the intent of the State Legislature...Additionally, students may be suspended for violation of the local school uniform dress code." STUDENT ID BADGES:

ID badges must be worn at all times using the lanyards provided by the school.  They must be visible and not defaced.

SHIRTS:

Students must wear shirts distributed at registration with the Williamson Lion's logo.

• Freshmen: White School Issued Polo Shirt
• Sophomores and Juniors: Black School Issued Polo Shirt
• Seniors: Gold School Issued Shirt

PANTS:

Tan khaki uniform slacks.  No Carpenter pants, Capri, jeans, or other style pants.  Pants must be worn at the waist while on school campus or on school related activities (Field trips, assemblies, pep rallies, etc.).

SKIRTS/JUMPERS:

Khaki or plaid pleated uniform skirts.  Finger-tip length.  No straight or A-line skirts

BELTS:

Plain solid black or brown belts.  Must be visible at all times.

SHOES:

Solid Brown or Black lace-up shoes only (No athletic shoes, No Baby doll shoes).

SOCKS:

Must be worn by all students.

OUTERWEAR:

Students' outwear must have the Williamson logo on it.  Williamson pullovers with hoods will be distributed at registration.

BOOKBAGS:

Clear or Mesh bookbags only

Also, uniforms that are overly tight will not be accepted.

Sport teams, cheerleaders, band and other auxiliaries, honor roll students, and other school sanctioned clubs and organizations may wear their respective organization shirts on all game days and Fridays.  Class shirts may be worn on Fridays only.
